Residential Burglary Reported in South Pasadena After Three Suspects Flee

A residential burglary was reported Monday morning, Aug. 10, in South Pasadena after a resident reported hearing a burglary alarm at a neighboring home and seeing three individuals running down the street.

At approximately 10:15 am, the South Pasadena Police Department Communications Center received a 9-1-1 call from a resident in the 200 block of Los Laureles Street. Officers responded to the area but were unable to locate the suspects.

The suspects were described as wearing dark clothing and reflective-colored safety vests. They reportedly fled the area in a white SUV, possibly a Kia. The vehicle’s license plate is unknown.

Officers who checked the residence found evidence of forced entry and discovered that the home had been ransacked. The extent of any property loss remains under investigation.
