The Pasadena Educational Foundation (PEF), in partnership with the Pasadena-Foothills Association of REALTORS (PFAR) and Pasadena Education Network (PEN), has announced the newest cohort of PUSD Certified Realtors following the completion of the 2026 certification program held at Willard Elementary School.

      By News Desk

The program featured a course designed and led by Dr. Jennifer Miyake-Trapp, Assistant Dean of Learning Design and Technology and Associate Professor of Education at Pepperdine University. Through interactive discussions and presentations, participants explored Pasadena Unified School District programs, educational opportunities, and initiatives serving students throughout the district.

Organizers said the certification program is intended to help real estate professionals become informed resources for families considering a move to Pasadena, Altadena, or Sierra Madre and seeking information about local public schools.

Now in its eighth year, the PUSD Realtor Certification Program continues to connect real estate professionals with educators and district leaders to provide a deeper understanding of Pasadena Unified schools and programs. To date, more than 100 real estate professionals have completed the certification and are listed in the PUSD Certified Realtor directory.

The 2026 cohort of newly certified agents includes:

      • Ana Soulriver, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices
      • Andrea Vaughn, Keller Williams Realty
      • Andy Sherman, Real Broker Technologies
      • Brenda Wong, Engel & Völkers Pasadena
      • Cynthia York Shadian, Engel & Völkers Pasadena
      • Emily Gaetke, Compass
      • Erin Maloney, Keller Williams Realty
      • Lori McShane, Equity Union
      • Michael Ferrera, Keller Williams Realty
      • Phillip Ruiz, Keller Williams Realty
      • Travis Wayne, Places by Travis Wayne

PEF congratulated the newly certified professionals for their commitment to learning more about Pasadena Unified and the communities served by the district.

The next PUSD Realtor Certification opportunity is expected to take place this fall. Interested participants are encouraged to contact PFAR for additional information.
