Attention socially conscience residents, Krista Suh, the co-founder of the “Pussy Hat Project” is coming to town!
By Robin Wouthworth
The global women’s movement, created almost overnight, attracted millions of women, men and children at over 600 rallies in countries touching virtually every continent. The co-founder of the Project, author, artist, Hollywood screenwriter, and activist Krista Suh, will be selling and signing her new book, DIY Rules for a WTF World: How to Speak Up, Get Creative and Change the World in Altadena.
The book signing event will take place at Webster’s Community Pharmacy (co-hosted by the Women’s clothing store Meredith M). The event’s page offers the following advice:
Come meet and mingle with other women (and men) of the community who are activists, business leaders, educators, civil servants, entrepreneurs, and influencers. Hear their stories of how they got to where they are, who their mentors and role models were and share advice for those looking forward to their futures.
Krista will be signing her book at the pharmacy on March 10, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., with plenty of parking in the back of the structure.
Webster’s Community Pharmacy is also organizing a “Stay Strong Parkland – Letter Writing and Card Making” event on Tuesday, February 27, to comfort and offer support for those affected by the tragedy at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida. Card making supplies and postage will be supplied (click for more details).
