The best way to understand another person’s life is to step into it, and Pasadena Unified students are doing exactly that as they bring Black history to life.

Experience history in motion at the Black History Living Museum on Tuesday, May 12, at 6:00 pm at the Robinson Recreation Center, 1081 N. Fair Oaks Ave., Pasadena. This special event showcases PUSD 3rd–5th grade students as they illuminate the stories and achievements of influential Black leaders through research-based presentations and creative performances.
Families and community members are invited to attend and cheer on the students as they build confidence, strengthen public‑speaking skills, and deepen their understanding of history through meaningful, hands‑on learning. These experiences extend beyond the classroom, helping students connect their studies to the world around them while celebrating culture and identity together.
