Pasadena Unified School District’s Class of 2021 Graduation at the Rose Bowl

PUSD announced on Monday, April 19, that the high school Class of 2021 graduations will be held in person, with safety measures in place, at two ceremonies on June 4, 2021, at the Pasadena Rose Bowl.

The first ceremony will include:

• CIS Academy High school,
• Rose City High School,
• Marshall Fundamental Secondary School, and
• John Muir High School Early College magnet.

The second ceremony will include:

• Pasadena High school and
• Blair High School.

In a statement to the community, PUSD said:

We are making every effort to make this important rite of passage as special as possible for graduates while adhering to COVID-19 safety measures. During the pandemic, we learned how important it is to come together as one community to support and celebrate our students.

High school principals worked together to ensure that graduates are honored in safe, in-person ceremonies. Our goal is to ensure that:

1. Every graduate has an opportunity to receive their diploma in person.
2. Parents/guardians can be present. Each graduate may invite up to four guests who must be from the same household.
3. Safety measures are in place, such as wearing masks, physical spacing, and advance registration.

PUSD high schools will have specifics about schedules, tickets, and other information in the coming weeks.

Car Parades for middle and elementary

Promotion ceremonies for middle and elementary school students are being planned as car parades. Parents need to check with your school for dates and times.
