      POETRY CORNER

      – 12/21/16

      Hosted by Kathabela Wilson

I am especially delighted to welcome the experienced and wonderful poet Susan Diridoni to our Corner today! She has followed, commented and encouraged our work since the inception of our Poetry Corner. We begin happily and hopefully, with her festive soup, always looking forward to new beginnings and signs of spring in our hearts.

      the simmering intentions
      before us come spring

Susan Diridoni lives just east of San Francisco, the City and Bay Bridge sparkling against winter-red sunsets. She says: “Rearranging my house has been appearing in my published poetry lately—counting the ways in which the strata of decades may be described.”

      an unexpected bad day
      across the pond
      where my friends strive
      a little bit of uncertainty
will be where some dreams are born
and a new world will begin

Art (Robert) Kingston lives in Essex, UK, and observes the striving of his friends here in America with a sympathetic heart.
