      – 2/14/18

      Hosted by Kathabela Wilson

From beginning to end these poets are transformational. The lyrical magical subtle and personal ways they see the world are powerful natural lightness pervades as if their poems become wands.

      winter clouds-
      i find my own
      super blue blood moon

      touched
      by the moon-
      rabbit bush on fire

Mike Duffy is a poet adventurer artist who creates his own world of beauty from what he has at hand in cold, dramatic environments. These photos and poems from Farewell Canyon, BC.

      the Earth’s rusty veil
reflects off of the blue moon…
      a rare alchemy

      moonset
      of the Super Blue Moon
      Eclipse…
      the trees win

Poet Dennis Gobou views the eclipse from his home on Saint Simons Island, GA. He is a wise poet that meets the world with both sensitivity and humor.

      Louis Osofsky

      measuring
      the light by the warmth
      of my pen,
      this earth’s shadow
      empties the night

Louis Osofsky writes in Sacramento, California; and with a warm embrace, moves through silence, words and life’s rhythm.

      Ardelle Ray

      the blood-clot moon
      starts to drip
      a wound re-opening
      as earth’s shadow
      passes

Ardelle Ray lives in Las Vegas, Nevada. In her view, through a window, ”the moon went black, with a sliver the color of clotted blood.”

      Gerry Jacobson

      moonlight
      floods the clearing
      where I lie
      with the apple trees
      somewhere in Suffolk

Poet and dancer Gerry Jacobson lives in Canberra, Australia. I love his mysterious enigmatic childlike view of the eclipse of hundred moons…
