On Friday, August 28, Playhouse Village Park will screen the final film in its free throwback ’90s lineup, celebrating its 30th anniversary with movies from the decade in which it was founded. The Sandlot will begin at 8:00 pm, shortly after sunset, at the park, located at 701 E. Union St. in Pasadena.

The park opens at 7:00 pm for guests to gather. Bring a blanket or lawn chair to secure a prime viewing spot and enjoy pre-movie activities, including free popcorn, photo ops, and arts and crafts.
The Sandlot (1993) is a nostalgic look back at 1962, centering on a new kid in town who joins a local baseball team. The film stars Denis Leary, Karen Allen, and James Earl Jones as the adults tasked with keeping the chaos in check.
