On Sunday, August 30, at approximately 10:00 pm., a marked Pasadena Police vehicle struck an adult pedestrian in a lane of traffic near Marengo Avenue and Washington Boulevard.

The officer immediately stopped and rendered aid. The pedestrian was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The officer was not injured.
The Pasadena Police Major Accident Investigation Team was dispatched to the scene and is conducting a thorough investigation.
