Eleanor Belco Electric Inc. will shortly begin work on the South Lake Pedestrian Lighting Project, awarded to them in May of this year.

Construction funding was recently secured and work will run from September until approximately May of 2024. The project, approved by the Pasadena City Council in 2007, will provide two signaled crosswalks and upgrades to two Del Mar traffic islands, as well as pedestrian lighting.
Advocated by the South Lake Business Association and working with the City of Pasadena, this project will continue to enhance pedestrian safety and security for a thriving commercial part of Lake Avenue, lending foot access to businesses
