Osa, a new rooftop restaurant, will open to the public on July 18 atop the recently completed AC Hotel Pasadena.

Located at the corner of Colorado Boulevard and Madison Avenue in Pasadena’s Playhouse Village, Osa offers sweeping views of the San Gabriel Mountains, the Pasadena skyline, and the Rose Parade route below.
The project is a collaboration between Boulevard Hospitality Group, Welcome Group, Inc., and its development affiliate, Eight Form. The restaurant features an open-air terrace anchored by a mature olive tree, surrounded by fire pits and native landscaping inspired by the nearby Angeles National Forest. The design was led by Suplex Design and Build Agency.
Executive Chef Carlos Couts, formerly of Sushi by Scratch and Rokusho LA, heads the kitchen. The seasonal, produce-driven menu includes dishes such as grilled swordfish, roasted beets, Wagyu burgers, hand-pressed tostones, and King Ora salmon crudo.
The beverage program, created by Pete St. Peter (Capri Club), highlights local spirits, seasonal cocktails, and a curated wine list, along with a daily happy hour. Signature cocktails include the Cactus Cooler (mezcal, nopales, lime, amaro, aloe), the Triple Cali Spritz (three California aperitifs with soda), and Drop the Beet (tequila, beet juice, raspberry, lime). Prices trend toward the upscale, but the panoramic views promise a memorable experience.
Furnishings throughout Osa were crafted from reclaimed wood by local artisans, and floral installations feature native plants like California buckwheat.
Osa will be open daily for dinner from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm, with weekend brunch expected to launch later this summer.
