Pasadena’s new “Meaningful Conversations Book Club” will be reading Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents written by Isabel Wilkerson.

Caste is a powerful and thought-provoking book that challenges readers to confront the reality of caste in America. Wilkerson’s writing is engaging and accessible, making complex ideas and historical events easy to understand. This book is a must-read for anyone interested in understanding the social and political dynamics of American society.
This book club will meet once a month on Tuesday evenings to focus on literature that inspires conversations about our neighborhoods, community life, and personal relationships.
