Pasadena is revving up for one of its most beloved traditions as the Pasadena Police Department prepares to host the 24th Annual Pasadena Police Car Show on Saturday, June 6, 2026. From 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, Pasadena City Hall will transform into a gleaming showcase of chrome, horsepower, and community pride.

      By News Desk

This year’s event arrives earlier than its usual Father’s Day weekend slot, but the spirit remains the same: a lively gathering of car lovers, families, and neighbors soaking up Southern California sunshine and celebrating the city’s vibrant community culture. Sponsored by Thorson Motor Center GMC Buick, the show promises a full lineup of classic, vintage, custom, and specialty vehicles from across the region.

Visitors can expect a day packed with entertainment, including stunning vehicles from every era, opportunity drawings, multiple award categories, family-friendly activities, and plenty of food and fun to keep the energy high.

But beneath the shine and spectacle lies a deeper purpose. Proceeds from the event support two youth-focused programs: the Pasadena Police Activities League (P.A.L.) and the Pasadena Police Explorer Program. Both organizations provide mentorship, leadership development, educational support, and positive community engagement for Pasadena’s young people.

Pasadena Police Chief Gene Harris emphasized the impact of the event, noting that the Car Show has grown into a cherished tradition that strengthens community bonds while fueling programs that help shape the city’s future leaders. Every registration, sponsorship, and donation directly supports these efforts.

The Pasadena Police Department also expressed gratitude to the community members and sponsors whose generosity keeps these programs thriving year after year. Contributions help offset program costs and ensure that future generations continue to benefit from P.A.L. and the Explorer Program.

Residents are encouraged to come out, enjoy the festivities, and be part of a tradition that continues to grow stronger with each passing year.
