Pasadena Unified School District serves more than 17,000 students in Transitional Kindergarten through 12th grade.  The district covers a 76-square mile area that includes Altadena, Pasadena, Sierra Madre and unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County. Parents/guardians and students may take a virtual tour of a PUSD campus and see how PUSD accelerates achievement for all students. The PUSD hotline at 626-396-3680 offers more information.

      Enrollment

All enrollments must be completed through the online process. In-person enrollment is not available. The lottery waitlist for select schools will be maintained through August 6. After August 6, all students should be registered at their school of residence. Only the legal parent/guardian may enroll a student. District staff must verify all documentation before the enrollment process is completed.  Parents/guardians unable to enroll their students through the online process may mail paper registration forms and documentation to: Enrollment Permits & Student Records, 351 S. Hudson Avenue Room 123, Pasadena CA 91101 or Fax documents to (626) 795-9530.

      Students in grades K-5

For students in grades K-5 this fall, PEN Zoom programs will provide an orientation for parents. These programs are presented by PUSD staff and will include responses to parent questions submitted in advance. Various times are available for next PEN Zoom program on August 3, 2020. For information contact PEN at info@penfamilies.org or call 866-216-7334.
