Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) announced that Open Enrollment for the 2025-26 school year begins on January 8, 2025, with the first lottery application period for district residents and employees of the City of Pasadena and PUSD.

This is a unique opportunity for families to explore and choose from a wide variety of educational programs and schools within the district for children from preschool through 12th grade.

From dynamic neighborhood schools to innovative academics, students have the freedom to thrive in campus environments that best match their talents, interests, and goals.

PUSD’s diverse offerings include:
- Transitional Kindergarten (TK)
Available at every elementary school in the district, providing an excellent early educational foundation for younger learners. Children who turn four on or before September 1, 2025, are eligible.
All families interested in enrolling their child in TK must complete an Open Enrollment application, even if they select their assigned neighborhood school. - NEW
Pan African Immersive Storytelling Academy to nurture critical thinking, creativity, and digital literacy skills while celebrating the rich diversity of Pan-African cultures and histories. - Arts Education
Cultivating creatively through comprehensive music, visual arts, and performing arts programs. - STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math):

How to Enroll
- Open Enrollment begins January 8, 2025. TK students must apply through Open Enrollment at us/enrollment.
- New-to-PUSD students can register now at their neighborhood school for 2025-26: 1- (Find My School). 2- (Register).
