Assessing schools
PUSD is in the process of assessing schools and surrounding areas for damage and safety. Officials plan to work through any problems that arise and have schools open by Tuesday, August 22, for students and staff.

Officials will also hold a press conference on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, on the status of schools in the Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) in the aftermath of Tropical Storm Hilary.
