Notice has been issued for the Pasadena Unified School District’s General Election for Board of Education Members, scheduled for Tuesday, November 3, 2026. The election will include seats for Geographic Sub-Districts 1, 3, 5, and 7.

Nomination papers for candidates seeking election to these Board of Education seats are available through Friday, August 7, 2026, at the Office of the City Clerk, located at 100 North Garfield Avenue, Room S228, Pasadena.
Candidates may receive and circulate nomination petitions to collect signatures from registered voters in order to have their names placed on the November 3 ballot. Board Members elected from Geographic Sub-Districts 1, 3, 5, and 7 will each serve a full four-year term.
The official nomination period will close at 5:00 pm on Friday, August 7, 2026. During this period, the City Clerk’s Office will issue nomination papers to qualified candidates who are registered to vote and reside within the respective Board of Education districts they are seeking to represent.
The nomination period will be extended through Wednesday, August 12, 2026, only for races in which the incumbent candidate does not file for re-election.
Information about running for these offices will be provided by City Clerk staff at the City Clerk’s Office during the nomination period. Candidates may schedule an appointment by calling the City Clerk’s Office at (626) 744-4124 or by emailing cityclerk@cityofpasadena.net.
