        Pasadena PWP Customers Must Apply Now for Free Rain Barrels

      Pasadena Water and Power is hosting a rain barrel distribution event on Sunday, January 21, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.

      Pre-Order Required

      PWP customers need to visit “Rain Barrels International” website (see link) and pre-order a rain barrel; then pick it up at the event.*

      PWP offers a rebate that will cover the cost of the rain barrel, making it free* after application (maximum quantity is two rain barrel rebates per household).

      Rain Barrel Specifications

      • Recycled plastic “food grade” barrels;
      • 39″ tall, 23″ diameter, and capacity of 51+ gallons;
      • 4″ tight, steel mesh screen;
      • Available in Black or TerraCotta colors.

      This event is hosted in partnership with Foothill Municipal Water District, Crescenta Valley Water District, Liberty Utilities, Glendale Water and Power, as well as Burbank Water and Power. *Only Pasadena residents receive rebates for the full price of the rain barrel; all other cities/water agencies offer $35/barrel.
