      On the evening of Saturday, December 6, 2025, Pasadena Presbyterian Church will host its 81st Annual Candlelight & Carols concert, a heartwarming and festive celebration of Christmas music.

      This beloved annual event brings together all of the church’s resident choirs for a spectacular performance that blends both sacred and secular holiday music. The program will feature fresh renditions of cherished Christmas classics, along with newly composed works, offering something for everyone in the family to enjoy.

      The evening’s musical lineup includes pieces by some of the most respected composers and arrangers in contemporary choral music, including Dan Forrest, Elaine Hagenberg, John Rutter, Sarah Quartel, Calvin Taylor, and Joel Raney. The diverse selection will showcase the beauty and depth of the Christmas season, evoking both reflection and celebration.

      Artists and Ensembles

      The 81st Annual Candlelight & Carols will feature a talented array of performers, including:

      • The Kirk Choir
      • The Trinity Choir
      • The Pasadena Singers
      • The Van Etten Handbell Choir
      • The Rainbow Choir
      • The Carol Choir
      • The Friends of Music Orchestra

      Special performances will be provided by:
      Timothy Howard, 김종숙 Kayla Kim, F. Thomas Simpson, Michelle Kardos, Vena Luthey, and Nora de la Torre.

      Together, these musicians will bring the spirit of Christmas alive with lush harmonies, joyful melodies, and vibrant instrumental arrangements.

      A Joyous Reception

      After the concert, guests are invited to continue the celebration at a festive holiday reception. Mingle with friends and fellow attendees while enjoying seasonal treats and refreshments.

      Parking Information

      Parking is conveniently available for those attending the event:

      • Free street parking is available around Pasadena Presbyterian Church after 6:00 pm.
      • Additional free parking can be found at 40 S. Madison Ave.
      • For those preferring structured parking, the Trio Apartments parking facility offers $5 parking (pay upon exit) at 44 N. Madison Ave.
