The Pasadena Police Department will participate in Los Angeles Fleet Week during Memorial Day Weekend, May 22–25, 2026, joining thousands of visitors at the annual event held at the Port of Los Angeles.

      By News Desk

Fleet Week is a longstanding national observance that combines remembrance, education, and community engagement. The event welcomes active-duty ships from the United States Navy, United States Coast Guard, and the Royal Canadian Navy, giving the public an opportunity to tour working vessels, meet service members, and learn more about military life.

Sailors visiting Los Angeles during Fleet Week are invited into the community for a period of rest and connection with the public as part of the Memorial Day tradition honoring those who have served and sacrificed.

For the Pasadena Police Department, participation in Fleet Week serves two purposes: honoring the spirit of Memorial Day while also strengthening ties with the community through public outreach and engagement.

Throughout the weekend, department personnel will be available to speak with visitors about policing careers, answer questions about law enforcement, and provide information about opportunities within the department. Officials said the event may inspire some attendees to pursue careers in public service.

LA Fleet Week will take place at the Battleship USS Iowa Museum, located at 250 S. Harbor Boulevard in Los Angeles.

      Event hours are:

      • Friday, May 22, 2026: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm.
      • Saturday, May 23, 2026: 10:00 am – 7:00 pm.
      • Sunday, May 24, 2026: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm.
      • Monday, May 25, 2026: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm.
