Pasadena Police Department released a video related to the officer-involved shooting incident that happened on Saturday, April 13, 2024 (see link).

The shooting occurred in the 700 block of Oak Knoll Circle. It is based upon a preliminary review of the incident, which is still under investigation. Additional facts and evidence may be discovered and will be reviewed.
The Pasadena Police Department normally conducts Criminal and Administrative investigations into all Officer-Involved Shooting (OIS) incidents, including interviews of witnesses and the involved officers, eyewitness statements, and an analysis of video and forensic evidence. After the criminal investigation is complete, it will be forwarded to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. A Use of Force Hearing will later commence, and the Chief of Police will make a final determination whether the officers involved acted within department policy.
