Rusnak Auto Group Chairman and CEO Paul Rusnak, Mayor Victor Gordo and Police Chief Gene Harris will be in attendance along with community members, local community leaders, public safety personnel and breast cancer survivors.

For this year’s campaign, the department is partnering with Huntington Health Cancer Center. Proceeds from the sale of commemorative pink patches will support the center’s breast cancer programs, including early detection, treatment and compassionate care for patients and their families.

The Pink Patch Project is a nationwide public safety initiative that brings law enforcement agencies together to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer programs. Throughout October, participating officers wear specially designed pink patches and work with local businesses and residents to support the cause.

Rusnak Auto Group has supported charitable organizations throughout Southern California for decades. The company’s philanthropic efforts include corporate-sponsored initiatives and partnerships with organizations serving the communities where it operates.

The kickoff event will include a raffle featuring several prizes, including a $500 Disneyland gift card, a weekend off-roading experience from Rusnak Auto Group, and dining experiences at Javier’s and Mijares restaurants.

Additional information about the national campaign is available at pinkpatchproject.com.
