On Tuesday, April 25, 2023, Pasadena Police Officers took out their note pads to take orders from famished patrons at a police officer sponsored Fundraiser at California Pizza Kitchen. The annual Tip-A-Cop event supports the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics. This year’s fundraising efforts shattered pre COVID-19 totals by raising almost $2,700 in donations plus 20% of the evening’s food sales. All proceeds go to support Special Olympics athletes.
Moreover, on April 29. the Pasadena Police Department participated in the Pasadena Ronald McDonald House (PRMH) Walk for Kids. Team Pasadena Police Department raised over $5,000. The department’s fundraising efforts earned them the honor of having the department’s name placed on the wall of one of rooms of the Pasadena Ronald McDonald House for one full year. These private rooms serve families when their children receive critical medical care.
