During the renovation period, all Permit Center services will relocate to the Hale Building Hearing Room, located at 175 N. Garfield Avenue.
Visitors accessing the temporary Permit Center must enter through the City Employee Entrance on Ramona Street, according to the city’s notice.
The temporary service hours will shift as well. From the start of the relocation, the Permit Center will operate 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Thursday, with service available on alternating Fridays.
City officials thanked residents and businesses for their patience during the transition, noting that the upgrades are intended to improve service delivery once the main lobby reopens.
The city has not yet announced how long the renovation period will last.
