Pasadena city Contractors have patched the pavement and will have the southbound ramp to California Blvd fully re-opened by 3:00 pm on Friday, March 31.
By News Desk
The ramp will remain fully open for the weekend.
On Monday, April 3, there will be another single lane closure on the ramp beginning at 7:00 am. This is so the contractor can prepare the site for pipe lining. The contractor intends to close only one of the two lanes on the ramp so traffic can still get through. Commuters should expect some delays.
A sinkhole was discovered on the southbound 710 freeway off-ramp to California Blvd. on March 29, which prompted a full closure. Traffic was diverted to the Del Mar Blvd. off-ramp, causing delays and headaches for commuters during rush hour.
