A Pasadena resident was arrested in alleged connection with several recent shootings into dwellings.

Incidents
– On December 20, 2021, officers from the Pasadena Police Department responded to the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue regarding a “Shots Fired” call. Upon arrival, officers discovered a drive-by shooting had occurred in which the driver of a pick-up truck fired multiple gunshots at two males. There were no reported injuries.
– On December 22, 2021, officers from the Pasadena Police Department responded to a “Shots Fired” call in the 1200 block on Summit Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered a car-to-car shooting had occurred involving a suspect driving a pick-up truck. There were no reported injuries.
– On January 19, 2022, a shooting occurred in the 100 block of Lotus Avenue in the unincorporated area of Pasadena. Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department handled the investigation. There were no reported injuries.
Detectives from the Pasadena Police Department’s Robbery/Homicide Unit conducted follow-up investigation into these three shooting incidents, leading to the identification of a suspect connected to a local criminal street gang.
Warrant and arrest
A search warrant was executed on January 27, 2022, at multiple residences located in the cities of Pasadena and Altadena. The search warrant was served with the assistance of the Criminal Intelligence Unit and the Special Investigations Unit. During the operation, 37-year-old Marcos Flores of Pasadena was arrested for the above-mentioned shootings. The operation and arrest led to the recovery of evidence including a loaded firearm and ammunition.
Charges
On January 31, 2022, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office filed three felony counts on Flores for Discharge of Firearm with Gross Negligence. His bail was set at $180,000.
