Shoppers will find a wide selection of used books, DVDs, CDs, LPs, and a treasure trove of children’s books at bargain prices. One of the highlights of the sale is the popular $5 Bag Deal, fill a paper grocery bag with books from the patio sale for just five dollars. Inside the bookstore, all items will be available at 50% off.
Proceeds from the sale directly benefit programming across all 10 branches of the Pasadena Public Library. These include community favorites like the Summer Reading Club, One City, One Story, and events celebrating Women’s History Month, Black History Month, Latino Heritage Month, Asian American and Pacific Islander Month, Native American Heritage Month, and more.
Founded in 1975, The Friends of the Pasadena Public Library have spent the past 50 years championing literacy, discovery, and lifelong learning in the community. Their ongoing efforts continue to fund innovative programs and advocate for fully supported, vibrant public libraries in Pasadena.
