The goal is to bring hope to those living with breast cancer; and in support of the many women and men battling breast cancer, the survivors, and those who will be diagnosed with breast cancer.
The event will bring greater awareness to the benefits of health and fitness before, during and while recovering from cancer. Pasadena’s Police Officers are proud to be “Pink Strong”, wearing uniform shirts with a Pink Patch to bring awareness to breast cancer, cancer research, and most importantly, prevention.
Money raised will go to the City of Hope, and Pasadena encourages everyone to wear pink throughout October in support of this campaign.
