Pasadena renters, landlords, and housing stakeholders are getting a rare chance to directly influence how the city’s rental data systems work.
By News desk
The Pasadena Rental Housing Board’s Rental Registry Ad Hoc Committee is calling on the community to share real‑world experiences with the Rent Stabilization Department’s Rental Registry System and its public‑facing Rental Registry Portal.
At the center of this effort is a user‑experience survey, available online at this link, where participants can weigh in on everything from ease of use to accessibility. For those who prefer a hands‑on approach—or simply want help navigating the survey—the city is hosting two in‑person feedback sessions.
These sessions are designed for anyone who wants personalized assistance, has questions about the tools, or would rather speak with staff face‑to‑face. Attendees will be able to voice concerns, offer suggestions, and discuss their experiences using both the Rental Registry and the Public Portal, which allows users to view property and unit data and confirm whether units are registered in Pasadena’s system.
City officials say the input gathered will directly inform improvements aimed at making the rental registration process smoother, more accessible, and more effective for everyone involved.
In‑Person Feedback Sessions Monday, April 27, 2026, and Monday, May 4, 2026 3:30 – 5:00 pm Location Rent Stabilization Department Office First Floor Conference Room 199 S. Los Robles Ave.
