      LOS ANGELES – ColoradoBoulevard.net:

The tenth annual PIFF Film Festival, May 4 – 11 will take over the Laemmle NoHo 7 In North Hollywood, with the Great Gatsby Award Ceremony at Der Wolf Restobar in Pasadena.

      By News Desk

The Pasadena International Film Festival now enters its tenth year with its signature glitz and glamour, showcasing over 140 films from over a dozen countries. PIFF screens feature films, short films, documentaries, music videos, and animation and also honors over two dozen screenwriters, playwrights, and composers. Every film block concludes with a moderator-hosted Q and A, and each day concludes with a “Passholders Lounge” hosted by the Federal Bar. In addition, the Dangerfield Agency will host a panel on the “State of the Industry” prior to the Friday screenings. The eight-day event will culminate in the Great Gatsby Gala and Award Ceremony held at Der Wolf RestoBar in Old Pasadena on May 11.

Actors in this year’s films expected to attend include Abigail Breslin, Annabelle Gurwitch, Ed Begley Jr., Melissa Manchester, Michael Dorn, Austin Pendleton, Ron Perlman, Lea Thompson, Jon Huertas, as well as celebrity chefs Elizabeth Falkner, Lincoln Carson, Nyesha Arrington, and Perry Cheung.
