      Pasadena International Film Festival (PIFF)

The 4th Annual Pasadena International Film Festival (PIFF) will present more than 100 films from 15 countries during its nine-day run at Pasadena’s Laemmle Playhouse 7 theater.

      By Shadi Absi

The festival will kick off on Thursday, March 8th, and will run through Thursday, March 16, 2017. With Q&As, panels, special events, post-screening parties and a Great Gatsby-themed closing night awards ceremony, the festival promises something for everyone.

Vroman’s Bookstore will host a number of panels and post-screening parties will take place every night of the festival at local Pasadena establishments.

The festival’s theme this year is “Old Hollywood”, when “film” itself was fresh and new, according the festival’s website.
