Pasadena Unified School District announced that Pasadena High School is receiving statewide recognition for its strong college readiness, ranking among the top three public high schools in California with the highest acceptance rates to University of California, Los Angeles.

District officials say the achievement highlights the effectiveness of the district’s college-preparatory programs and the dedication of students, educators, and counselors across the district.
According to the district, all four PUSD high schools exceeded their projected acceptance rates to the University of California system this year. Pasadena High School outperformed expectations by a particularly wide margin.
District leaders credited the results to a combination of rigorous academic programs and the support provided by school staff who guide students through the college admissions process.
The district celebrated the accomplishment as a reflection of the collective efforts of the school community, calling the milestone a point of pride for PUSD students and staff alike.
