Pasadena in the fall
Fall officially gets underway today. The autumnal equinox, which happens to be September 22, 2016, is when day and night are each about 12 hours long.
In the Northern Hemisphere (USA, Central America, Canada, Europe, Asia, northern Africa) the actual time of equal day and night occurs a few days after the autumnal equinox.
On this gloomy day, and with the fall season upon us, we start a new calendar year full of hope, determination and a strong desire to improve. It also marks our introduction of a seasonal logo that will change accordingly.
Let us balance light and darkness within us.
