      Easter at the PASADENA CIVIC

      Service Times:  9am & 11:30am (doors open 25 mins before service)

      Kids Church: Program provided from Birth – 5th Grade for both service times on site (next door at The Convention Center). We invite 6th graders and up to join the celebration in the adult services.

      Parking Options

      1. Schoolhouse Park&Walk Structure, 33 East Green Street in Old Town Pasadena (map below). We will validate the parking for up to 2.5 hours total (*per available spots). Its three blocks from The Pasadena Civic. You can receive a validation sticker in the lobby of The Pasadena Civic.
      2. Paseo Colorado Mall which is right across the street from The Pasadena Civic (free for 90 minutes with merchant validation, $1.50 per half hour after)
      3. The Pasadena Civic: $10 per car

      HOLY SATURDAY, April 4

      Children’s Vigil: 4 p.m. (Church)
      Celebrate the conclusion of Holy Week and beginning of Easter with children leading this service through reading and music with infant and child baptisms. Troubadours offer music. Bring a bell to ring at the Easter proclamation!

      The Great Vigil of Easter: 7:30 p.m.
      The service begins in the street with the kindling of the fire and lighting of the Paschal candle, then proceeds into the Church to experience the stories of our faith and to baptize adults by candlelight. You’re invited to bring bells to ring during the Gloria. The journey continues into the Church to welcome new members into All Saints, and celebrate the first Eucharist of Easter. Canterbury Chamber Singers offer music. Parking is available in the Plaza Las Fuentes. Note: Incense will be used at this service.

      EASTER SUNDAY, April 5

      Festive Eucharist: 7:00, 9:00 and 11:15 a.m.; 1:00 p.m. Bilingual Spanish/English service

      The rector preaches in the midst of a blaze of candles, lilies and trumpets. At 7, 9 & 11:15 a.m. Coventry and Canterbury choirs and Trouvères, brass and percussion ensemble, and soloists offering music of Vierne, Hopkins and Dirksen; At 1 p.m. Dan Cole leads music.

      Parking: Normal Sunday parking is available in Kaiser and Plaza Las Fuentes—remember, the Plaza is free only until 1 p.m.

      Child care: Child care is available for 7:30 p.m. weekday Eucharists, Maundy Thursday evening, Good Friday noon and evening, the Children’s Vigil, the Great Vigil, and all services on Easter Sunday.

      Join us this Sunday for celebratory worship, Easter Egg Hunt for the children, and mimosas of all kinds for adults!

      This Sunday’s worship is part of our “Thirty Days for the Earth” series, putting intention into shifting our behaviors and values to honor and embrace earth care.

      Easter Sunday – April 5
      9:00am: Easter Family Celebration – Families and children are invited to come to the Colorado Blvd. Patio this morning for a faith-filled time of breakfast, bible stories and crafts as we celebrate Easter. Come and go as you need to for choir rehearsals.

      10:00am: Easter Worship Celebration – We gather in join and jubilation as the great good news that hope is stronger than despair, forgiveness more powerful than hatred, love greater than fear and life will overcome death. Join as we reclaim our ‘Alleluias’ and celebrate the abundance of God’s never-ending love.

      Festival Worship with glorious music by the Kirk Choir, Van Etten Handbell Choir, children’s choirs, brass and organ. Dr. Mark Smutny will preach. The Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper will be celebrated.
