Pasadena Chief of Police Eugene Harris recently announced that Community Services Officer (CSO) Hilda Jurado has been named a finalist for the Southern California Chapter of the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (N.O.B.L.E.) Homer Garrott Community Service Award.

N.O.B.L.E. is a respected organization dedicated to advancing equity within law enforcement, working to ensure fairness in the justice system and to eliminate racism in the field.
CSO Jurado, currently assigned to the Community Services Section, has dedicated nearly 37 years of service to Pasadena. She has played a key role in numerous community-oriented initiatives, including the Community Police Academy, Kids Safety Academy, and Neighborhood Watch programs.
Jurado’s achievements were formally recognized on Saturday, March 15, 2025, during N.O.B.L.E.’s annual “Achievers Dinner” held in Long Beach. The event celebrates individuals who have made notable contributions to enhancing community-police relations and promoting trust between law enforcement and the communities they serve.
