The Pasadena Community Orchestra will continue its 43rd season with a concert at 8:00 pm on Friday, March 13, 2026, at the beautiful First Church of the Nazarene of Pasadena.

The evening’s program features a mix of beloved classical works by Mendelssohn, Grieg, and Beethoven. Audiences will also hear a special solo performance by violinist Naomi Jones, the winner of the orchestra’s 2025–26 Young Artist Competition in the Junior Division.
Jones will perform the virtuosic Zigeunerweisen, Op. 20 by Pablo de Sarasate, a piece known for its dazzling technical demands and expressive Gypsy-inspired melodies.

- Mendelssohn — Overture for Winds
- Grieg — Peer Gynt Suite No. 1
- Pablo de Sarasate — Zigeunerweisen, Op. 20, featuring violinist Naomi Jones, Young Artist Competition Winner (Junior Division)
- Beethoven — Scherzo from Symphony No. 9
