        Pasadena Community Foundation Announces the Election of Two New Board Members

      Pasadena Community Foundation (PCF) elected two new members to its Board of Directors: Ivy Lee Kelter, M.D., and Tony Gronroos, MBT, CPA.

      Representing the health care and tax consultant sectors respectively, Ivy Lee Kelter and Tony Gronroos also represent a commitment to community leadership. The Pasadena Community Foundation Board oversees the foundation’s investment strategy, grantmaking programs, and philanthropic engagement throughout the greater Pasadena area.

      Sonia Singla, a PCF Board member and the Chair of the Nominating & Governance Committee, notes “New board members bring fresh perspectives, innovative ideas, and renewed energy to our foundation. We are so excited to welcome Ivy and Tony to the PCF Board as they bring diverse experiences and professional insights, which are crucial in helping us continue to make a meaningful impact in the Pasadena area.”

      – Ivy Lee Keltner

      Ivy Lee Keltner, M.D., is a practicing board-certified dermatologist in Pasadena. She has extensive digital health experience in academia, public health, and tech startups both globally and in the U.S. She graduated from Stanford, University of California San Francisco School of Medicine, and completed dermatology residency at Georgetown University, where she served as Chief Resident.

      Ivy currently serves as the Chair of the Augmented Intelligence Committee within the American Academy of Dermatology and on the Board of Directors of the California Society of Dermatology.  Her current work focuses on AI research, advocacy, and education at the American Medical Association, U.S. Food & Drug Administration, and the World Health Organization.  She is also a frequent science communicator and collaborator with media outlets.

      A proud Pasadena native, Ivy is grateful to serve her community through PCF. She also serves on The Huntington’s Board of Governors and volunteers at Polytechnic School.

      – Tony Gronroos

      Tony Gronroos, MBT, CPA, has over 25 years of public accounting experience in federal and state income tax services. He has served clients in manufacturing, distribution, investment banking, private equity funds, entertainment, media, real estate, estates and trusts, and corporate reorganizations. Tony is particularly knowledgeable in real estate, debt funds, and private equity funds. He assists clients with trust, gift, and estate planning, as well as federal and state income tax planning for high-net-worth individuals and companies.

      A CPA in California, Tony is a member of the AICPA and CalCPA. He is also part of the San Gabriel Valley Estate Planning Counsel. He earned a BS in economics from UC Santa Barbara and an MBT from USC.

      Tony has served on the boards of charitable organizations, including as Finance and Investment Chair for Union Station Homeless Services, Finance Chair of Pacific Clinics, and Finance
