The City of Pasadena and the Black History Planning Committee have unveiled the full entertainment lineup for the 2026 Black History Festival, set for Saturday, February 21, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at Robinson Park, 1081 N. Fair Oaks Ave. This year’s theme Unifying the Culture & Protecting Our Freedom, Passing the Baton to the Next Generation will guide a day of performances celebrating resilience, creativity, and community pride.

The festival will feature an array of local talent, headlined by Grammy‑nominated singer Angie Fisher, known for her breakout 2014 hit “I.R.S.” and her work alongside global icons including Michael Jackson and Mariah Carey. Fisher will be joined by special guest performers Candace Lacy and Tanya DeCuir, adding depth and range to the day’s musical offerings.
Additional performances by Judah Lacy, Aretha Scruggs, and Courtney Lindsey (SunWhoa) will showcase a blend of musical styles that reflect Pasadena’s rich cultural landscape. Organizers say the lineup was curated to uplift local voices and highlight the artistic diversity that defines the community.
This year’s festival carries added significance as Pasadena continues its recovery from the Eaton Fire. City officials note that the event is designed not only as a celebration but also as an opportunity for collective healing through music, culture, and shared experiences.
Beyond the main stage, attendees can look forward to youth performances from local middle and high school students, a variety of food trucks, the return of the classic car show, and community resource booths offering services and support for residents and families.
The entertainment announcement marks the latest update in the city’s ongoing rollout of festival details, building anticipation for one of Pasadena’s most cherished annual celebrations.
