About the Performer

Ellen Snortland is a columnist for the Pasadena Weekly, LA Downtown News, and the West Side Argonaut. Her column “Consider This…” has run for 32 years and just garnered Ellen the LA Press Club’s highest honors: Columnist of the Year and Journalist of the Year. She’s also the author of “Beauty Bites Beast,” featured on Dateline NBC, and is the writer/director of the award-winning documentary film of the same name.
