A “No Kings: Vote Early” rally is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 17, from 9:30 to 11:30 am at Kersting Court, 1 Kersting Court, in Sierra Madre.

      By News Desk

Organizers said the event will remain at Kersting Court and will not include the previously planned walk to Memorial Park. Participants will receive information about nearby ballot drop boxes and polling places, how to check their voter registration status, how to register to vote and how to help their communities get out the vote.

The rally will also provide information about serving as a poll worker or poll monitor, as well as how to address — or “cure” — ballot issues.

Street parking is available along Sierra Madre Boulevard and nearby streets. “This rally is an opportunity for our community to come together, learn about voting options and make sure every eligible voter has the information and support needed to participate,” organizers said.

The event is part of a broader series of “No Kings” gatherings focused on encouraging people to vote early. A related event is scheduled in Pasadena from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, with additional events planned across the country.
