      All 4,200 residents of Catalina Island are asked to voluntarily leave as the entire island of Catalina is under an evacuation warning. Extra rescue boats will be sent for anyone who stays.

          L.A. Fire Chief, Kristin Crowley, said at a news conference that the storm is expected to bring 'significant impacts' in the Antelope Valley and San Gabriel Mountains areas. 3" - 7" of rain and winds between 40 - 70 miles per hour are expected, according to Crowley.
