– Transit Assessment Community Meetings
The Transit Division is evaluating the current Dial-A-Ride program, as well as assessing the possibility of additional transit services for the community.
Mobility Advancement Group, Evan Brooks Associates and the City of South Pasadena will be hosting two community meetings, one on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at 10:00 am. and a second meeting at 6:00 pm at the Senior Center (1102 Oxley Street). The City of South Pasadena would like to hear from residents about its transit program, Dial-A-Ride, and future transit needs.

– Retro Games Day Event
The South Pasadena Public Library’s Teen Advisory Board will host a Retro Games Day on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 10:30 am – noon in the Library Community Room (1115 El Centro Street). Sponsored by the Friends of the South Pasadena Public Library, this event is offered free to the public.
Children, teens, and parents are invited to engage in classic hands-on games at stations led by Teen Advisory Board volunteers. Cat’s cradle, American jacks, Gonggi (Korean jacks), marbles, hopscotch, card games such as Spoons and Go Fish, and preschool games such as Duck, Duck, Goose, Hokey Pokey, and Ring Around the Rosie are some of the games that the teen volunteers will demonstrate and play with younger kids and their peers.

– Breakfast with Santa
The South Pasadena Community Services Department will host their annual Breakfast with Santa on December 9, 2023 at the War Memorial Building, located at 435 Fair Oaks Ave., from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
Attendees will enjoy a pancake breakfast, entertainment, crafts, and an opportunity to take their own photo with Santa. Advanced registration is required and all sales are final. Tickets are $24.00 per person, children ages 2 and under are free.
