A new no-cost webinar series is launching this month to help owners and managers of residential rental properties in unincorporated Los Angeles County better understand local regulations and improve property management practices.

Hosted by the Small Business Development Center (SBDC), the webinars will take place on the third Thursday of every month at 3 p.m. Participants may attend a single session or join the entire series.
The first webinar is scheduled for Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 3:00 pm.
The series will cover a range of topics designed to help landlords navigate county regulations and requirements for residential rentals, understand landlord and tenant rights and responsibilities, avoid common property management mistakes that can lead to costly issues, and protect their investments while maximizing long-term property value. Each session will also include a live question-and-answer segment.
The remaining 2026 webinar dates are:
- August 20
- September 17
- October 15
- November 19
- December 17
All webinars begin at 3 p.m.
The program is being developed in partnership with the Los Angeles Regional Small Business Development Center Network and the Los Angeles County Department of Consumer & Business Affairs.
