Pasadena Fire and Police personnel responded to several suspicious fires on the east end of the city today, with multiple incidents occurring within a span of a few hours.

Authorities said the first fire was reported around noon. The incidents included a dumpster fire behind Whole Foods Market at 3751 E. Foothill Blvd., a fire in the bed of a truck parked in front of Panda Inn at 3488 E. Foothill Blvd., and a rubbish can fire inside Panera Bread at 3521 E. Foothill Blvd.
Emergency crews also responded to a vehicle fire at the Sierra Madre Villa parking structure.
Firefighters and police officers responded quickly to each incident and conducted an extended canvass of the surrounding area.
All of the fires remain under investigation.
