Monterey Park will welcome the Pasadena Audubon Society on Saturday, April 25, at 10:30 am for a special multi‑site birding outing aimed at helping residents connect with the wildlife in their own neighborhoods.

The morning begins at the Monterey Park Bruggemeyer Public Library’s Friends Room, where guests will be introduced to the basics of birdwatching. Following the indoor session, attendees will take a guided nature stroll through Barnes Park to observe local bird species in their natural habitat.
Participants will also have the chance to win a beginner’s birding pack, which includes binoculars, a pocket field guide, and a copy of The Backyard Bird Chronicles by Amy Tan.
