Residents are invited to come together for a free outdoor viewing of FIFA World Cup action at Barnes Park on Thursday, June 25.

The community watch party will take place from 7:00 to 10:00 pm and will feature Team USA’s match against Turkey on a large outdoor screen. Soccer fans will also have the opportunity to watch Japan face Sweden beginning at 4:00 pm.

The event is open to the public and encourages friends, families and neighbors to gather and celebrate the excitement of international soccer. Organizers recommend arriving early and visiting the nearby Farmers’ Market to pick up refreshments before kickoff.
