Monterey Park Fire Service Day (Photo – MPFD)
Families are invited to spend the day with Monterey Park firefighters during the annual Fire Service Day on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm at Fire Station 61.

The event will begin with the Larry Sullivan Memorial Pancake Breakfast from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. Breakfast plates will be available for $10 each.
Free family-friendly activities will follow from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, featuring live demonstrations, fire truck tours, a photo booth, CERT information, and more.
The community event offers residents an opportunity to meet local firefighters, learn about fire safety, and enjoy hands-on activities for all ages.
Fire Station 61 is located next to City Hall at 350 W. Newmark Ave. in Monterey Park.
