The Monrovia nonprofit Underdog Bookstore is hosting a unique two-part Interview Workshop this weekend, with Saturday’s session held online and Sunday’s session offered in-store. Both are designed to help job seekers stand out in a competitive market.

With a mission rooted in representation and connection, Underdog Bookstore aims to amplify underrepresented voices through a curated selection of books and a range of inclusive events.
Each session runs from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm and is described as a “respectful, shared experience as we navigate the treacherous land mines we know as the interview process.”
Participants will learn a writing method that can set them apart from familiar competitors, how to establish reasonable expectations and boundaries in a new workplace, and how to identify which companies are worth their time, and which are not.
Sign up for the free, two-part workshop online here.
