The free event, the Monrovia Music Fest, will feature live performances, a 5,000-square-foot artisan market, a craft beer garden, food trucks, a kid zone, and opportunities for community connection. VIP Lounge tickets for the Craft Beer & Wine Garden (21 and older), priced between $23 and $28, are available online through Eventbrite.
The festival is organized by Creative Being, a local nonprofit dedicated to encouraging community engagement and artistic self-expression.
The event was first created in 2014 by Monrovian business owner Carole Anne Kaufman, a two-time world champion musical whistler known as “The Whistling Diva.” In 2015, marketing executive Clara Mayer joined the effort, and in 2024 the team expanded into a nonprofit to further its mission of inspiring creativity through the arts.
“We are passionate about bringing communities together through music and art,” Kaufman said.
Organizers encourage attendees to bring friends, family, and well-behaved leashed dogs for a summer celebration of music, creativity, and community.
