Monrovia residents and commuters should prepare for roadway maintenance along Huntington Drive through March 6, as the city begins a series of infrastructure repairs at multiple intersections.

According to city officials, crews will be working at the following locations:
- Huntington Drive & Shamrock Avenue – Concrete repair
- Huntington Drive & Myrtle Avenue – Water valve repair
- Huntington Drive & California Avenue – Water valve repair
The most significant traffic impacts are expected at Huntington Drive and Shamrock Avenue, where multi‑day lane closures will be in place. Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area when possible. Despite the closures, driveway access to all affected businesses will remain open throughout the project.
City staff acknowledged that construction can be disruptive and thanked the community for its patience as crews complete the improvements. Officials also noted that schedules may change, and they encouraged residents to remain flexible.
